Alta’s filter cartridges have undergone independent laboratory testing by SGS, one of the world’s most recognized testing institutes. The tests were conducted according to NSF/ANSI 53:2022 guidelines as well as the USEPA 537.1 method – which is the highest standard used for certification of advanced drinking water filters.
The results show that Alta’s PFAS filters reduce two of the most well-known and problematic PFAS substances, PFOA and PFOS, by more than 97-98%, which is within the limits for high-performance filtration according to international standards.
In addition to PFAS, Alta’s filter cartridges showed a filtration rate of up to 99.9% for chlorine, rust, bacteria, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics.

You choose which filter cartridge you want, and we’ll automatically send you new filters at intervals – with no commitment period. For Alta, 3x cartridges are sent by default every quarter. For Sandhamn, 2x cartridges are sent by default every four months. You can of course change or unsubscribe yourself online at any time via “my pages”.
It depends on the product you use. For Alta, the filter change is recommended every month, therefore we send a package of 3 filter cartridges every quarter. For Sandhamn, the filter change is every two months, and therefore we send a package of 2 filter cartridges every four months.
