Sandhamn filter cartridges have undergone independent laboratory testing by SGS, one of the world’s most recognized testing institutes. The tests were conducted according to NSF/ANSI 53:2022 guidelines and the USEPA 537.1 method – the highest standard for certification of advanced drinking water filters.
The results show that the Sandhamn PFAS filter reduces two of the most problematic PFAS substances, PFOA and PFOS, by more than 97-98%, which is within the limits for high-performance filtration according to international standards.
In addition to PFAS, Sandhamn’s filter cartridges showed a filtration rate of up to 99.9% for chlorine, rust, bacteria, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics.
